It is my pleasure to welcome to the strengths guy podcast today a long time strengths advocate, Aman Zaidi. Aman is a strengths coach, leadership development and organisation development specialist. He also has one of the most curious and challenging minds I have come across and he has challenged me and many others in our thinking through the years.
Finally, Aman is a business storyteller par excellence, a fact that was most recently brought to wider attention with his Ted talk ‘Towards a strengths-based education system’, which I can highly recommend as a great watch – it is accessible, authentic and honest and tells Aman’s story of breaking through mediocrity by choosing a different way of living. I am really looking forward to today’s conversation, and talking to Aman about his story, how strengths have helped him and how education needs strengths.
In this episode, we cover:
- Aman’s learnings and how strengths play a part
- Why education needs strengths and what needs to change
- What are the greatest challenges and successes when using Strengthscope and the strengths philosophy
- Advice when using the strengths approach
